For the 11th time, ZKM and SWR, the German TV and radio station, are inviting entries for the \\international\media\art\award. A total of EUR 24,000 in prize money awaits the winners of the VIDEO and INTERACTIVE categories. Artists worldwide are requested to submit their works on the subject of Scenarios of Fiction among computer games, cyber-sex, nanobytes and robotic arts. This year, ZKM’s partner, the state-owned LBBW Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, is sponsoring the \\international\media\art\award for the first time.

The deadline for entries is April 1, 2003 and on that date ZKM is organizing a one-hour program of videos from the collection of ZKM's Media Library that relate to the subject of this year’s media art prize. It also provides a last opportunity to submit entries on the spot.
