Alexandre Gherban: La forme programmée transitoire observable
Thu, September 22, 2005 7 pm CEST, Lecture

Alexandre Gherban talks about his work in connection with the exhibition on The Algorithmic Revolution. An interdisciplinary artist and member of the Transitoire observable group, he has been closely involved since 1990 with electronic poetry and digital composition. His theoretical reflections on the special characteristics of digital composition have stimulated his interest in the creation of artistic forms. “The lecture deals with aspects of the digital form in general and the observed transitional form in particular. This form that has emerged in the generative process, which is designed to lend new formal dimensions to the programmed material, will be illustrated by practical examples.” (Alexandre Gherban)
