Visitors' Party in the Hallenbau
10 Years of the ZKM

This year, ZKM and the Städtische Galerie mark their tenth year in Hallenbau A. On this occasion, both institutions would like to say “thank you” to their visitors with a visitor’s festival. An extensive program for young and old is offered as acknowledgement to regional, national, and international guests for the positive support they’ve provided over the past ten years.
A large selection of workshops on the current exhibitions as well as the widely popular museum rally for children and teens will be offered in addition to guided tours through the ZKM exhibitions: “Thermocline of Art. New Asian Waves,” the show “YOU_ser: The Consumer Century,” (which opens the previous day), and the “Algorithmic Revolution.”

Balloon competition and further surprises

Highlights
Guests can test their driving skills on the ADAC driving simulator or relax at a buffet of Japanese snacks. And in the ZKM_Foyer, sports are on the program with Tai Chi. A digital Carrera race by the group Susigames will be held as a tournament at the festival. The radio play Fliegender Stern and other stories for people five-years-old and up will be presented in the ZKM_Cube as part of a collaboration with SWR2. Visitors with good aim can win amazing prizes at the dart quiz and balloon competition. And as the day draws to a close, further surprises await.Program
