On the ZKM_Music Balcony, ZKM presents photographs and videos in which Armenian children and youths grapple with their country’s natural environment and the ecological problems specific to the southern Caucasus region. The environmental education program »Following the Sun«, founded in 2006 by the SunChild organization, has meanwhile brought together over 1,000 children and youths in six different regions of Armenia around the themes of nature and the environment.
The session will be opened with the speeches of Mister Andreas Reifsteck in representation of the Honorarkonsul of the Republic of Armenia in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Mister Günter Pilarsky, and of Mister Ruben Khachatryan director of FPWC and head of the environmental educational program »Following the Sun«.
