Wed, October 22, 2008 7 pm CEST, Lecture

Christian Bartenbach founded the engineering office Lichtplanung Christian Bartenbach in 1976, the present day Bartenbach LichtLabor, in Aldrans (Austria). His work originated from inventions in non-glare, high energy saving systems technologies patented within Europe and worldwide, for the redirection of daylight and new sun protection systems, for example. In his lectures, Bartenbach permits his public to participate in his profound knowledge of daylight technology. By means of numerous examples, he offers an overview of the manifold possibilities for integrating the use of daylight into planning. Christian Bartenbach has been Honorary Professor since 1993. Among experts and the general public his acknowledged achievements and publications in the filed of light technology and design have brought him numerous lectureships and Guest professorships in Central Europe.
