In collaboration with the Goethe-Institut St. Petersburg, the ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics is inviting four artists from Russia and Belarus to work together at the ZKM over a period of four weeks. The group, consisting of composer Yuri Akbalkan (St. Petersburg), choreographer Alexandra Portyannikova (Moscow), visual artist Sergey Shabohin (Minsk) and documentary filmmaker Snezhana Vinogradova (St. Petersburg), will develop a joint project and present the result as part of a discussion concert. The event will enable the audience to become familiar with the ideas of aesthetics and content of the young generation of artists living in Russia and Belarus. Ludger Brümmer will guide through the evening.
