3rd »MINT Zukunft schaffen« congress (Creating a MINT future)

Together with governmental ministries and the »MINT Zukunft schaffen« initiative, the Südwestmetall trade association and its partners are hosting the countrywide »MINT Zukunft schaffen« congress in Baden-Württemberg for the third time on October 17, 2017. With the subject of »Digital Transformation – Designing School and Lessons 4.0«, the congress appeals to teachers, school management and interested companies.

Lots of interesting workshops about digitaliization and digital education in school and lessons, such as media development plan in schools for school management teams, the route to media profiles and their implementation in everyday school life, cyber-mobbing, programming of an app in lessons, learning with virtual worlds, digital ethics – digital values in lessons, are on offer by various speakers from schools, universities and the business world.

The congress will begin with the motivational speech »Optimally Designing the Teaching-Learning Process with Digital Media in School«, by Prof. Dr. Katharina Scheiter, head of the »Multiple Representations« workgroup at the Leibniz-Institut für Wissensmedien (IWM) Tübingen. The programme of the MINT congress in Karlsruhe will be rounded off with the nationwide accolade as “MINT-friendly school”.
