The abbreviation QCBA also stands for an order awarded by the British Queen for valor in the air, but in this case the four letters are the initials of the two exceptional British horn players Quentin Collins and Brandon Allen. Together with the organist Ross Stanley and the drummer Lloyd Haines, the »hardest hitting horns« make up an enormously cool-grooving quartet, »so damn infectious, it’s almost impossible to resist!«. 

With the greatest virtuosity, QCBA present jazz oozing with soul, reaching from the Blue Note era of the 1960s directly into the present. During the past few years, this quartet has taken the European jazz scene by storm with its appearances at many of the most important festivals. In addition to this, the two front-men have delighted audiences in the bands of international stars like Prince, Eric Clapton, Gregory Porter and Kyle Eastwood, appearing in Karlsruhe with the latter in November 2015.
