Kohei Nawa: Force

In his artwork Kohei Nawa deals with the question about seeing things in a new light. Everyday objects are coated for example with a layer of transparent glass beads. The glass beads give a new skin to the pieces and convert them into an abstract new object. By covering up the everyday objects the artist motivates an intensive interaction between the spectators and the objects asking about the object's fun­damental existence. He is playing with illusions and the spectator's perception regarding a new reception of reality.
