- Preview of the symposium »MyCity, MySounds and the correspondent app developed at the ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics.
The symposium will explore the sonic augmented reality and its potentials.
In addition to a preview on future technology trends as well as an overview on different fields of application of geolocative sound, the symposium will also provide a broad based platform for transdisciplinary discourses.
An app developed at the ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics will be presented with which one can design public spaces soundwise in an augmented reality environment. It enables users as well as sound artists to playfully locate sounds or sound art compositions which then can be found by other users.
