/////// Venice Biennale: Golden Lion for Franz Erhard Walther
At the 57th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, Franz Erhard Walther has won the Golden Lion for Best Artist. In 2012, the ZKM presented artworks by Walther at »Franz Erhard Walther: Space Through Action«.

/////// Audio-visual presentation: Soundscapes along the Rhine
The German Federal Waterways and Research Institute (BAW) and the ZKM | Music and Acoustics Institute invite you to learn about the countless facets of the river and take an unusual video journey of sound from Iffezheim to Karlsruhe. »Soundscapes along the Rhine« will be presented at four dates: On June 28 and 29, as well as on July 1 and 2, 2017.
/////// Opening: Radical Software. The Raindance Foundation, Media Ecology and Video Art
In their works, the members of the Raindance Foundation tested the socio-critical, participatory and emancipatory potential of the new affordable medium of video. We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition on Friday, June 30 at 7 pm.

On Saturday, July 15 at 8 pm, this explosive double concert takes place, which is inspired by Morton Feldmans »Patterns in a chromatic field«. With Antonis Anissegos (piano), Mathis Mayr (violoncello), Dan Peter Sundland (bass), Daniel Schröteler (percussion) and Sebastian Schottke (electronics).
