- Biography
- Andreas Ströhl graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich with a MA in German philology in 1987. Since 1988, he works at the Goethe-Institut. From 2003 to 2011, he was director of the Munich Film Festival. In 2009 he gained his PhD with a thesis on Flusser’s cultural theory. In 2011 he became head of the Department of Culture and Information of the Goethe-Institut.
