Cécile Dazord

Biography
Cécile Dazord is an associate professor of classics (1994) and a graduate of the École nationale du patrimoine in Paris (2000). 2001–2005 she was the head of contemporary art at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Strasbourg (FR). In 2006, she joined the research department of the Centre de recherche et de restauration des musées de France (C2RMF), where she is responsible for developing a study and research program on conservation issues which are specific to contemporary art. Within this context, she focuses on the question of technological obsolescence.
