The project »Virtual Bridges: Art and Technology between Brazil and Germany« aims to develop an online platform that seeks to strengthen not only artistic practices but also the creation of cross-collaboration activities and the transfer of knowledge between the two countries, consequently securing a field for transcultural experiences. Its main goal is to create a participatory virtual community, where debates on the subject of art and technology, exchanges, mappings and research are on-going and incited through the networks created on the platform. Furthermore, the project will contemplate, in order to enhance the cultural exchange, the inauguration of a collaborative network that will include partnerships between museums, galleries, cultural centres and universities in Brazil and Germany. Artists, curators, researchers and other professionals from both countries will be invited to get involved and to propose activities for the platform.

O projeto »Pontes Virtuais: Arte e Tecnologia entre Brasil e Alemanha« pretende estabelecer uma plataforma online para estreitar a relação entre os dois países, estimular projetos de arte colaborativos, consolidando assim um campo de ação onde haja troca de informações e experiências transculturais. Seu objetivo concreto é a criação de uma comunidade virtual participativa onde debates, intercâmbios, mapeamentos e pesquisa sobre arte e tecnologia sejam promulgados. Além disso o projeto contempla, como forma de potencializar as trocas culturais, o desenvolvimento de uma rede de colaboradores que incluirá parcerias de pesquisa entre museus, galerias, centros artísticos e universidades do Brasil e da Alemanha. Artistas, curadores, pesquisadores e outros profissionais de ambos os países serão convidados a se envolver e propor atividades para a plataforma.
