»Du hast Rechte!« [You have rights!] is a large-format art-media project for primary school students and teachers, initiated by the Deutscher Kinderschutzbund, Landesverband Baden-Württemberg and ZKM Karlsruhe.

With innovative teacher workshops and through new artistic strategies, the aim is to expand the discourse about and implementation of the subject of »children’s rights« in schools. Six further educational concepts for teachers have been developed, which are based on parallel exchange with primary school students and an artistic research approach. The (media) artistic practices such as photography, video, performance and design with iPads are investigated and the concerns of primary school teachers and children about this subject will be visualised with media-artistic means and documented for sustained development. In addition, participatory concepts for primary school classes will be developed and tested together.

We would like to find out and highlight the issues that are important to children. The connected media art and educational provision will be developed by the speakers of ZKM | Museum Communication and carried out professionally in the ZKM_Workshops.
