Since January 2016, the Karlsruhe Card offers another reason to discover the capital of Baden: The new City Pass provides a number of complimentary benefits and discounts, along with free bus and train travel throughout the city.
These include entry to major cultural attractions, such as the ZKM | Centre for Art and Media, Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Badisches Landesmuseum, Staatliche Kunsthalle and the State Museum of Natural History, for example, along with leisure facilities such as Europabad and Karlsruhe Zoo. As well as free entry to seven museums, a valid Karlsruhe Card also allows visitors to join public city tours free of charge at weekends, or take advantage of discounts when purchasing souvenirs at the Tourist Information Office and preferential prices in selected restaurants.
