Perry Hoberman ist Performance- und Installationskünstler. Charakteristisch für die Arbeiten Hobermans ist die Verbindung von Technologien aus unterschiedlichen Abschnitten des Medienzeitalters. Das humorvolle und ironische Spiel mit den Gerätschaften, ihren Funktionen und den an sie gestellten Erwartungen, verdeutlicht ihre oftmals kaum mehr bemerkte Einflussnahme auf den Alltag.
