In addition to offering guided tours and workshops, the Museum Communication offers special formats that return regularly and address a broad spectrum of interests.

You can book the different formats individually or – depending on the day's offer – visit them without registration.

Guided Tours

Discover, together with our art educators, exhibitions in the Atriums 1+2 or 8+9!

Guided Tours

Art historians and theologians will guide you through a current exhibition and take you on a cross-generational discourse with stimulating food for thought!

Lectures, Discussions, Film Screenings

Would you like to find out more about the topics that are of interest to us ZKM employees far beyond our exhibitions? Then visit the medialounge at six!

After Work

Every Thursday evening, we invite you to a guided after-work tour at the »Open Thursdays«!

At 7.00 pm, there will be a special kind of public guided tour: short and crisp, in 30 minutes, selected works from the exhibition »Open Codes. Living in Digital Worlds« are presented. Together, we look behind the exhibition, try to understand its code and start the evening inspired!

Afterwards, you can let yourself drift through the exhibition until 10.00 pm.

Guided Tours

Let yourself be guided through the exhibition »DIA-LOGOS. Ramon Llull and the ars combinatoria« in Spanish or Catalan!

Guided Tours

Discover together with our art educators selected works in the exhibitions every Friday at 4.00 pm!

Guided Tours & Performances

Follow our art mediators on a performative and playful journey between art works and bodies!
