Following its premiere at the »eArts« festival in Shanghai 2008, the video installation »Parallaxe« by Matthias Fritsch can now be seen for the first time in Europe. Viewers in the »PanoramaScreen« find themselves surrounded by seemingly untouched landscape scenarios, which gradually prove to be technologically manipulated artificial spaces, constructed mirror images of the desire for an idyllic encounter with nature in a highly technological world.
