Digitalization provides museums with a multitude of opportunities – new ways to encourage accessibility, visitor interaction and participation or new forms of collaboration within the organization itself are just some of them. Museums are also taking these opportunities in Baden-Württemberg and are tackling the challenges they face as a result of digital transformation. But how are museums tackling these challenges? What lessons have they learned and what support do they receive in Baden-Württemberg as they work towards developing a sustainable digital strategy? Beate Lex and Petra Newrly will answer these questions based on the MFG’s experiences of working with museums in Baden-Württemberg.Beate Lex
