"We are very happy to return to the city and the palace with the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE" says Prof. Peter Weibel, curator of the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE and artistic-scientific director of the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. "The digital, however, will remain with us; furthermore, we want to reach people worldwide with the artistic works of the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE from the UNESCO City of Media Arts to reach people worldwide."
