The symposium will explore the sonic augmented reality and its potentials.
Though often misunderstood as an exclusively visual concept, the expression augmented reality has to be stretched when it comes to audio aspects. Combining position data and sound gives rise to an auditory meta level but it can also lead to an immersive experience when combined with appropriate technology.
