Alexander Liebrich & Marco Zampella

The creative duo of computer scientist Alexander Liebrich (*1978) and media artist Marco Zampella (* 1978) have been working together since 2010 at the intersection of art, technology, people, and nature. They focus particularly on human–machine interactions. In collaboration with dramaturg Frank Halbig at Southwest Broadcasting, a regional public broadcasting corporation, in 2010 they developed an interactive radio play for Mobile Interface Radio (MIR). In 2011, at the first BEYOND Festival in Karlsruhe, they presented a multiplayer video game which used real and virtual content. Besides computer games they progam smartphone apps and explore digital means of extending human perception like virtual reality and augmented reality. Alexander Liebrich and Marco Zampella live and work in Karlsruhe.
