- Rolf Wölk studied mathematics and physics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt (Ph.D.). From 1966 mathematician in the data processing and mathematics department of Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB). Primary working fields were applications in the area of physics and mathematical optimization occurring in the process of aircraft development, including graphical applications. 1970–1972 collaboration with Gerhard von Graevenitz. 1971/1972 worked on computer graphics at Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB). He lives in Munich, DE.
