Janice Misurell-Mitchell

Biografie

Janice Misurell-Mitchell arbeitet als Komponistin, Flötistin und Performancekünstlern, sie ist Co-Direktorin des CUBE Contemporary Chamber Ensemble in Chicago und Mitglied der Fakultät der School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ihre Werke wurden beim Randspiele Festival in Berlin, beim Festival of Winds in Novara, Italy, beim Robert Helps Festival der University of South Florida, bei den National Flute Association Conventions, im Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago und in der Carnegie Hall aufgeführt. Ihre Musik wird von MMC Recordings, OPUS ONE Recordings, Capstone Records und Arizona University Recordings produziert und vertrieben. Für die Performance »I Do Not Want to See That At My Breakfast Table« von Tania Bruguera und Weather Underground war Misurell-Mitchell als Sounddesignerin tätig.
