Description

The "Wintertoothpick" of Karl Valentin, a German comedian, consists of a toothpick with a white fur trim, a work of art from his Panoptikum in the basement of the Hotel Wagner, which opened in Munich in 1934.

Alongside a mixture of wax figures and curiosities, there was also this kind of toothpick.

In 1937, the artist even greeted the British writer Samuel Beckett with this "Wintertoothpick".
