Heinrich Klotz. Gedanken zum 80. Geburtstag

Heinrich Klotz
Fri, March 20, 2015 8 pm CET, Film Screening
Initiated by Peter Weibel and commissioned by the ZKM Karlsruhe, students of the neighboring Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) produced an interview film in which friends and companions of ZKM and HfG founder Heinrich Klotz have a chance to speak.

The interviewees are all in agreement: without the visionary dynamism, the force of conviction and the energy of Heinrich Klotz, the »moved mover«, the ZKM and HfG as sites of production, presentation, documentation and reflection of art in the context of advanced media technology would simply not have not come into existence.

Prof. Peter Iden, Prof. Wolfgang Rihm, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hans-Peter Schwarz, Prof. Dr. Klaus Schrenk, Prof. Dr. Martin Warnke and Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Peter Weibel will hold speeches.

The film is scheduled for screening this Friday, March 20, as part of smaller celebrations at the HfG. The screening begins around 8 p.m. in the Blue Salon and will be continued with drinks on the first floor at around 9 p.m.

Prof. Andrei Ujica, Franziska Vogel, Christian Haardt, Irina Konyukhova, Silvia Mirzenco, Florian Geierstanger, Matthias Hederer, Steffen Oestreich, Florian Geierstanger, Madelaine Merino, Marie Falke, Anna Kuhlig and Barbara Kuon all collaborated on the film.
