After four exciting years in Hall 16 of CeBIT, it was not only time for CODE_n to move on. It was also time to take the next big step with a new international innovation festival. As well as the familiar CODE_n STARTUP CONTEST, this year’s programme has been expanded by a number of other points. And according to the organisers of CODE_n, there is nowhere better for the festival than the ZKM | Karlsruhe, whose exhibitions and events have been attracting and inspiring the digital avant-garde for decades with their successful blend of media, economy, technology, science and art. Everything new to the CODE_n new.New Festival.

The theme of this year’s competition is “Unveiling Digital Disruption” and is divided into four categories: Applied FinTech, Connected Mobility, HealthTech and Photonics 4.0. 52 finalists from 11 countries made it to the final round this year and will present their business models at the festival. 

With the festival, the organisers want to offer a platform, on which leading technical companies and start-ups can come together and exchange their innovative business models and solutions.

On various stages, the digital pioneers will present their ground-breaking technology and game-changing business models. Visitors are called upon to listen, learn and participate. As well as the prize ceremony on Wednesday 02.05.2016, the perfect networking atmosphere will be created with a number of side events.
