Rainer Furch, brought up in Kirn/Nahe, studied German and English literature, and philosophy at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz, followed by studies in acting which he completed in Munich. He has been fully engaged for the last 2o years and in the Pfalztheater ensemble Kaiserslautern since 2001. He works regularly for TV/Film. He is speaker at SWR and SR. He writes his own plays and, as director, prepares them for premier performances. Rainer Furch is also author of numerous literary programs.
