Description: »Articulate« (2018) presents an uncensored dialogue. Pure sound. Enter the dialogue. Go play, and value your freedom of speech. In fact, it’s quite difficult to be articulate. The work is generated as viewers move their mouse cursor, roll over, pause or click at the sensitive surface of the hand-written letters on the screen, thereby activating multiple embedded layers of generative fragments of sound. Meaningful. Unintelligible. Poetic.
Due to error, glitch and incompatibility, in the reconstructed version on view in 2023, the sounds generated now seem to pile up, to loop and to get ‘out of control’ a bit too quickly.
