BÄMlab – Soldering connects!

No registration required, free admission and limited number of participants

In today's consumer culture, electronic devices are produced to be thrown away. Yet the art of repair has a long tradition in many cultures. From 2024, EU citizens will have the right to repair the products they buy - a big step towards sustainable consumption that we want to put into practice by 2026.

Together, we want to take a stand against the throwaway society and provide practical tools as part of our repair café PLAY:REPAIR:REPEAT. Breathing new life into broken things requires many skills, one of which is soldering.

We invite you to try out how to use a soldering iron in the BÄMlab at ZKM and solder your first connections yourself.

Come along and get creative. Everyone is welcome!
