Biography
Jerko Denegri studied history and geography at the Viša pedagoška škola u Splitu in Split (1955–1958) and art history at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade (1954–1964, 1990 Ph.D. in history of contemporary art). 1965–1989 curator, Muzej savremene umetnosti, Beograd, Belgrade. Editor-in-chief of the contemporary art magazine »Moment: casopis za vizuelne medije«. Curator of the Yugoslavian contributions to the Paris Biennales of 1971, 1976, and 1983, and the Venice Biennales of 1976 and 1982. He lives in Belgrade, RS.
