ZKM | Karlsruhe is launching the international call for submissions for the »BBBank-Award Projection Mapping 2025« for the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE Karlsruhe 2025.
Artists can submit their ideas until November 5, 2024 // 1 p.m. CET.
The Karlsruhe SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE are an annual highlight in the UNESCO City of Media Arts Karlsruhe. Every evening in August and September for about four weeks, the more than 170-meter-long façade of the Karlsruhe Baroque Palace is transformed into a large stage for artistic projection mapping. In 2025, the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). As a partner of the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE, the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, in cooperation with BBBank, is offering the »BBBank-Award Projection Mapping 2025«. In 2025, there will also be an audience award for the first time. The open call invites international artists to work on the topic of science, research and innovation.
