Christina Kubisch is one of the most important contemporary media artists. In 2021, she received the Giga-Hertz Main Prize for Electronic Music and Sound Art of ZKM | Karlsruhe as a lifetime achievement award. Now, at the ZKM, the composer is presenting the world premieres of the ZKM-commissioned composition »Out of Sight« and the fixed media version of her work »Electrified«. In addition to a concert in the Cube and a documentary exhibition at ZKM, visitors are invited to join her »Electrical Walks«, a kind of guided city tour where participants wear special headphones and are directed to areas of special acoustic interest at which the headphones make the electromagnetic fields audible.
