Toysrus 3.0
Sat, March 07, 2009 8 pm CET, Concert
The composer Josef Klammer is one of the most creative artistic minds in the Austrian scene. “Toysrus 3.0” is the third update of his live-composition series for percussion, computer, electric guitar, and eight loudspeakers. Klammer culls the data for the real-time modulation of the percussion from his gestures, dynamics, and diadochokinesia of the four extremities. Regulated with this are the pitch, delay, and filtering as well as the distribution of the sounds to the eight-channel loudspeaker system. Klammer is accompanied by Seppo Gründler. Klammer and Gründler have been producing musical experiments for thirty years and have also realized numerous recordings, as well as theater music, radio plays, and trans-musical projects.
