Soft Invasions carries off the viewers into mysterious narrative worlds and takes listeners on a journey − a journey into an inspiring variation of sounds, created by a single artist: Squalloscope.
Her music is characterized by the fairytale-like pop magic; her songs are fresh, dreamy and dynamic. Squalloscope’s texts are based on notes from her travel diaries, and provide an account of setting off, return and the bizarre time between. The key feature of the concert is Squalloscope and her singing; here, visual works of her artistic creativity are also integrated.
Squalloscope − the name the young, Vienna-based solo artist gives herself − will be guest at the ZKM on this evening. In addition to the music, the 29 year-old all-round artist paints photographs produced at the flea market, and writes poems and stories − she films the videos of her songs herself.
Be enchanted and introduced into the world of Squalloscope!
This project has been organized by art and cultural management students of the Karlshochschule as part of a cultural marketing project.
