Biography

Armin Medosch—born on September 16, 1962, in Graz and died on February 23, 2017, in Vienna—was an artist, media theorist, curator, and journalist. His influence and contributions to the development of media art and internet culture (including “Radio-Subcom” and “Kunst-Raum-Schiff Stubnitz”), his scholarly work on early computer art and the art of the New Tendencies, the founding of the online magazine “TELEPOLIS,” and his writings on internet policy demonstrate the breadth and depth of his research and professional fields.

Since 2018, Armin Medosch’s personal archives have been held at the ZKM | Karlsruhe.
