Founder of »Intellectual Network for the South (INSouth)«. A network of 80 eminent and 400 emerging intellectuals from the South that embodies an understanding, from a South perspective, of the emerging issues in the international arena, and the challenges and opportunities they pose for the South.
Founder of »Digital Governance«. Initiative to demonstrate innovative e-governance models to undertake public sector and governance reforms in developing countries. The models are based on strategic application of knowledge within the local context and available human, technological and financial resources.
Founder of »DevNetJobs Global Network«. A Platform to share job opportunities arising in the international development sector. The DevNetJobs newsletters connect over 500,000 individuals and 20,000 recruiting organizations in over 190 countries.
Founder of »KnowNet«. Initiative to establish knowledge networks for empowerment and capacity building in developing countries, and provide training to individuals and organizations through remote volunteering and »KnowNet« corps. The initiative has trained over 300 volunteers/NGOs through its toolkits »www.KnowNetWeaver.org« and »www.TechKnowNet.org« on designing websites and electronic networks.
