Yussan Ahmad Fauzi

Yussan Ahmad Fauzi is the founder of the music collective tinyUH, which plays on the Sundanese word for »brew«. The collective consists of small entrepreneurs from Majalengka who locally produce coffee, tea, spices, and terracotta goods. Together, they combine their economic knowledge with artistic, musical, and ritual practices. In their musical compositions, tinyUH gives resonance and flavor to local production and sales processes, while also referencing Indonesia's colonial history, which is intertwined with the trade of spices, coffee, tea, and clay.
