Matters of Evidence: A conference on how to unearth and manifest material traces

In September Alistair Hudson, the new scientific-artistic director of ZKM | Karlsruhe, will open his project »Fellow Travellers«, establishing a large-scale hybrid laboratory for socio-artistic topics at ZKM. The prologue to a central segment of the new project will take place in June with the »Matters of Evidence« conference. At this conference, independent curator Kuba Szreder and artist Natalia Romik will discuss questions about the validity and construction of evidence in artistic-scientific research. In collaboration with the Jewish Museum Frankfurt, the two-day conference links directly to its exhibition »Hideouts. The Architecture of Survival« by Natalia Romik.
