After two years in office it is now time to take stock. The Cicero Foyer Discussion at the ZKM | Karlsruhe invites guests to a discussion with Winfried Kretschmann, Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg.

Under the title »Die Schippe selber in die Hand nehmen« [Getting Your Hands Dirty], Winfried Kretschmann gives his views on diverse topics ranging from the question as to how he sees himself and his politics in view of the grand coalition, the influence, in his opinion, of the power shift from black-yellow to green-red in Baden-Württemberg, and the question as to how much the state can sustain civic involvement.

The hosts and interviewers are chief editor of the Cicero journal, Christoph Schwennicke and Cicero author, Georg Löwisch who began in Berlin and Leipzig, in 2010, now, invite participants to a public discussion with important personalities for the first time in Karlsruhe. In this format, the public becomes acquainted with well-known people and issues from an entirely different perspective.
