Making digitalization in Karlsruhe visible and experienceable for everyone – that is the aim of the »Bunte Nacht der Digitalisierung« [Colorful Night of Digitalisation]. The closing party and a lecture on digitalization and law will take place at the ZKM.

After the central opening in the town hall, the festival will take place from 3 pm in the city area at digitalization hotspots. Between 50 and 100 Karlsruhe companies, universities, research institutions and cultural institutions as well as municipal offices and societies will open their doors throughout the city and offer a broad program. Whether lectures for interested professionals or participatory workshops for citizens – all actors involved in the digital context can take part. Each participant creates his or her own program.

In this way, the unique ecosystem of the digital stronghold Karlsruhe can be seen and experienced. At the end, all guests are invited to finish the Colorful Night of Digitalization with a closing party at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. Surrounded by music and digital artworks, new impressions can be shared.
