New date – new insights: Visit us at the »Hallenbau Open House« and take a look behind the scenes of all four institutions for the first time. The ZKM | Karlsruhe, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe, the Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe and the Städtische Galerie Karlsruhe are looking forward to seeing you.
In 2024, we are once again inviting you to take part in around 50 guided tours, taking you in front of and behind the scenes. Into the exhibitions, the laboratory for antiquated video systems, the Hertz lab and the new glass workshop for the restoration of media art. If you want to explore the ZKM on your own, we recommend the museum rally. You can actively participate in a variety of workshops and all those who are interested in the overarching themes of the ZKM, such as CO2 standardisation and the digitisation of scientific data, are very welcome in the Media Lounge. Electronic music concerts await you in the Kubus. Highlights are certainly the cheerful ZKM career counselling, the talk with the directors and, last but not least, the film school for visitors by Bazon Brock.
The new »Hallenbau Open House« will take place every year on the first Sunday in February. It replaces the traditional date of January 6.
