Biography
Initially trained as a graphic designer, Lukas Marstaller’s work explores how playful spatial metaphors can inform the transfer between 3D bodies and 2D surfaces. This exploration manifests in sculptures, installations, publications, websites, and music, at the intersection of functional art, experimental communication, and collaborative formations. He co-founded the design studio BNAG and is a member of the FAN Collective. Currently, he teaches and conducts research at the art department of Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach. In 2023, he developed an object-oriented sound performance based on the humming noise of bees for the FARM project at Rimpertsweiler Hof in Salem.
