- John F. Abbick studied psychology at Rockhurst College, Kansas City (B.S. 1967) and design at the University of Southern Illinois, Carbondale, with Richard Buckminster Fuller (B.F.A. 1968). 1966 founding member of the Art Research Center (ARC). 1968–1971 Russian studies graduate at Syracuse University. 1968/1969 organized Dviženije exhibition in the USA in Syracuse, NY, and Kansas City, MO.
