Semiótica da Cultura e da Mídia [Interdisciplinary Center for Semiotics of Culture and Media] (CISC) and at the Grupo de Pesquisa em Mídia e Estudos do Imaginário [Research Group in Media and Imaginary Studies]. His research focuses on cyberculture, theories of the imaginary, media and religion, techno-religiousness, and communication as well as social movements.
