- Malena Segura Contrera has a PhD in communication and semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) (2001). Her postgraduate degree is from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). In 2013 she specialized in Jungian psychology at the C.G. Jung Institute for Teaching and Research at the Faculty for Health Sciences, São Paulo (FACIS-IJEP), and she is also a Jungian therapist. She currently teaches as a full professor the master and doctorate communication courses at Paulista University of São Paulo (UNIP).
