- Márcio Seligmann-Silva has a PhD from the Freie Universität Berlin, a postdoctorate degree from Yale University, and is professor of literary theory at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He has been a visiting professor at universities in Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and Mexico.
