Matt Ingalls

In addition to being a sought-after composer, computer-music programmer, and clarinetist, Matt Ingalls is the founder of the experimental-music ensemble sfSound and co-director of the San Francisco Tape Music Festival. The list of music software he has developed includes Soundflower, a universally acclaimed Mac OS audio utility, the virtual-analog synth Aardvark for iOS, and MacCSound, a real-time version for Macintosh computers of the Csound software-synthesis environment.
