- Monika Vrečar is currently a PhD candidate in the field of media and new media studies at the University of Primorska, Slovenia, writing a dissertation on the theoretical legacies of Marshall McLuhan and Vilém Flusser. She is the secretary of the Slovenian Society of Aesthetics and coeditor of the literary magazine »I.D.I.O.T.« Besides theory, she also publishes fiction and poetry.
